Dear Shapu Backers,
We're delighted to announce that we've received the first batch of Shapu knives, and they look absolutely stunning! Both the knives and the packaging have exceeded our quality standards, ensuring you'll receive a top-notch product.
On another note, to express our heartfelt apology for the delay in deliveries, we've decided to make things even more special for you. We're in the process of crafting Shapu paring knives, which we will be giving away for free to every backer. Production of these paring knives is scheduled to kick off at the start of September, with an estimated lead time of around 45 days. In the meantime, we’ll be evaluating various shipping agent options to ensure we make the best choice.
After we wrap up the production of the paring knives, we'll be posting another update with the shipping timeline and asking you to double-check and confirm your shipping address on your Backerkit survey before we lock them. This step is crucial to ensure your knives are delivered to the right place.
So hopefully by Christmas, you'll have not only your Shapu knives but also a complimentary paring knife!

Hello Shapu Backers,
Thanks for filling in the survey, we are now ready to go into mass production with over 500 Shapu knives being created.
We will be busy working hard with our supply network and craftsmen to build you the best possible product we know you will absolutely love.
Next we’ll share all the updates about the process from the production process so look out for them.
Anyone who didn't fill in your survey that's fine please get to it as soon as you can.
SHIPPING
Just one important note on shipping, everyone will get a chance to change or confirm their address just before we ship. So don’t worry if your address changes between now and the shipping date you will be able to correct it.

So, What's next?
We're tidying up all aspects of production, qualification, and shipment. In the next few weeks, we’ll send out a backer’s survey through BackerKit confirming your pledge. Also, you will be able to change your pledge, update shipping info, purchase add-on items.
